Latex rubber labels / tags

What are latex labels?
- A latex label or tag with a maximum size of A4 (± 21 cm x ± 30 cm).
- Thickness is about ± 0.40 mm
- The printing cannot be removed. So also not with thinner, not during or after washing the clothing or by contact by the wearer of the garment. Your label will always remain visible! That's why our labels are truly unique!
- Like our exclusive latex, the labels are also handmade, so there will be irregularities. They are not printed with a printer, they are 100% handmade!
What's possible?
- An image has a maximum A4 size, which is ± 21 cm x 30 cm
- You can place multiple images on 1 A4 (think of logos and sizes XS, S etc)
- A label for latex clothing with your name, logo or sizes.
- But have you ever thought of a latex flyer for your customers? You definitely stand out!!
- Or as a tag on the clothing?
- A label with a washing instructions for the latex clothing?
- Different images can be placed on 1 A4 (you may have different lines/series/versions in your collection or the like)
- The price is the same whether there is only 1 image on the A4 or if there are 100 on it
- 1 color for the background and 1 color for the lines/logo - transparent natural is possible, colored transparent is not possible.
- Of course a label does not have to be square or rectangular... round, stars, oval etc. (but... you have to cut/laser them yourself)
What should you pay attention to?
- Thin lines in combination with thick lines is difficult. The thin lines will not or hardly be visible.
- Don't make the lines too thin.
- Sans serifs (like Arial, Univers, Verdana etc.) give a better result than serifs (Times New Roman etc.)
- A combination of large and small letters, such as an under text. The smallest letters will be less visible.
- The smaller the text, the sooner the letters 'close up' with ink, eg an 'e' or an 'o', which can become dots instead of letters etc. With a letter 'E' the middle dash can disappear… etc. View the test results!!
- Latex is a soft material, just like textiles, and the ink is liquid. The print is therefore never as sharp as on paper or plastic or other hard materials. Lines/edges can therefore always look a bit frayed. Sometimes the ink may also run slightly or smudge. Unfortunately we can't do anything about that. And because labels are many times smaller than our sheets of 100x200 cm, every deviation is visible.
- White labels are more yellow than the 'regular' white latex.
- The print is a thin layer of ink and depending on the background slightly transparent because it is such a thin layer. So white on black results in white/grey lines. A white print on yellow or light pink will be almost invisible etc. Yellow on black will look grey/yellow. So think carefully about the combination of the colors.
- You will receive the A4 in latex from us. So you have to cut the labels yourself. So do not place the images/text too closely together, take into account space to cut.
- Tip! It can be useful to put lines on the edges so that you can cut them quickly and easily when you receive them. See red stripes in the attached image (in your file those stripes are of course also 100% black)
How do you deliver the file?
- The file is a .PDF file (from a vector file)
- Mirrored
- Format is A4, which is 210 x 297 mm
- 2 cm from the edges
- The print in black, the background in white
- 100% white - 100% black
- No shades of gray, no colors, no pixels
- Resolution of the image at least 300 DPI
- You can choose the color of the lines and the color of the background via the menu in the webshop. So a maximum of 2 colors are possible.

- If the image (or text) has a low resolution, the printout will be grainy, faded, etc.
- Enlarge the image on your screen and check whether the lines are straight.
Artwork / layout
We do not provide artwork / layout of the labels. Not even for a fee. So you have to arrange the artwork yourself or have it arranged. There are websites where creative freelancers offer themselves. There you can have the artwork taken care of for a small amount (a good platform is: https://www.fiverr.com).
Attention! We make what you submit. So if the texts/lines on your label have thin and thick patches, or are frayed or bumpy... you will see that in the latex labels as well. Please enlarge the .pdf file to the largest size on your PC and zoom in well so that you can see what the lines/images look like.
What/how do you receive the labels?
- 1 set = 20 x A4 latex, thickness ± 0.35/0.40 mm
- 1 set is a set made of 1 .pdf file, in 1 color combination
- There is a chance that there are also misprints. We leave them there, we don't cut them out. See above the explanation regarding misprints, etc. We have already taken into account in our price that there will always be a loss of a number of unusable labels.

How to glue them in the latex clothes/accessories?
- It's just latex, so degrease with thinner, dry, apply latex glue, dry, stick and roll on.

We have already done a test for a number of customers. Take a good look at the video. We have tested various color combinations. But also different logos from customers that work very well or are not suitable. Of course you are not bound by the colors we have tested. All color combinations are possible (but first think carefully… see the explanation above regarding colors).
First print your .pdf file on the printer at home and cut/cut the labels the way you want them. Then you can immediately see whether there is enough space to cut and how the proportions are, etc.
What's the price?
- The price is as stated, in 2 colors (so 1 color background and 1 color lines/images).
- That is 1 set of 20 x A4 size.
- You determine the number of labels in 1 set yourself.
- You can calculate the price per label yourself based on the size of your label.
- You can make the sketch with the dimensions at home on the computer in Word on an A4 (note space to cut!).
