Maintain and store latex and rubber clothing
Latex and rubber clothing will last for years under normal use. But it is a special material, just like wool and silk, there are instructions for use to keep it beautiful.
What is normal use?
Put on, wear and take off.
What is not normal use?
Pull it unnecessarily, put on a garment that is too small, forcefully push / push fingers or other objects into the latex, pull around mannequins or objects, leave them in water and / or suds for nights, put them in the microwave, put them in the washing machine or dryer ... etc. etc.
● Keep latex lying in a dry and dark place.
● Not in light (sun, UV, daylight, solarium, etc.) because of discoloration and risk of drying out.
● Do not allow the latex to freeze, preferably not below 6 degrees Celsius.
● Avoid contact with metals; in the long term, the chemical reaction will cause rust spots that will no longer go out.
● Avoid smoke / nicotine, perfume, deodorant, oil, sweat and blood.
● Keep away from burning cigarettes; when touched, a small hole is created which can tear through quickly.
● Wash with hand soap or dishwas soap after use in warm to hot water; then rinse and dry with a soft cloth. Sprinkle talcum powder on the inside and spray shine spray on the outside. Or completely in the spray or our own gloss and lubricant. Only use water-based resources.
● Do not wash latex in the washing machine, do not tumble dry, do not iron.
● Do not superimpose different colors of latex; colors can give each other (bleed).
● Water can cause water stains, but they disappear automatically.
● During / after washing, the latex is usually a bit lighter in color, but that automatically improves
This list is not endless ... but use your common sense and handle latex clothes normally and you will enjoy them for years to come.

TIP!
Always use all types of polish, brightener, latex and the like sprays outdoors! Because if you spill something, or a bottle falls over, or spray on the floor ... everything gets slippery and it's hard to remove (see bottom of this page).
Talcum powder
Our own talcum powder is odorless, colorless and oil-free, so perfect for latex. Useful for spreading garments on the inside of latex against sticking, but also for putting on. When making latex clothing you use talcum powder to remove the stickiness from the glue
Polish for latex clothing
Our own polish is economical to use. Moisten a cloth or sponge and pour polish on it. You can then rub in the latex with it. It gives a soft shine and maintains the latex.
Gloss and lubricant
Our own super gloss lubricant makes latex well shiny. It is also a perfect maintenance product to keep the latex in good condition. It is also a great lubricant to easily put on latex clothing. And because it is non-toxic or irritating, you can also use it for massages. Crystal clear. 100% silicone liquid. Non-toxic and non-irritating. Unlimited lifetime at normal ambient temperature.
Gloss spray to let latex shine
Our own gloss spray gives the latex a high gloss and also maintains the latex.
Pay attention! Use this product outdoors because everything in the environment can become very slippery; so not in the bathroom, not on tiles, not on laminate etc.
ViviClean
Vivi Clean is a fine cleaning agent for latex, disinfecting and antibacterial. It is a detergent to make latex clothes nice and clean again. How does it work:
Fill a container with water. Add 15-20 ml of Vivi Clean to the water. Rinse the latex clothes for about 1 minute in the water. Rinse with clean water. Ready! Then you can get the latex through a Vivi Shine bath and the latex garment is completely ready for the next party! Note ... avoid contact with eyes.
ViviShine
It is a maintenance product for latex clothing. After washing the latex, the latex is super-quickly provided with a protective layer. How does it work:
Clean your latex with a lukewarm soapy water with a little ViviClean. Rinse the latex well. Take fresh clean water and put Vivishine in it (ratio is 2 teaspoons on a sink with about 5 liters of water). Put the latex in the water a few times. Let it dry hanging
ready! Note ... do not use too much .... because then blue droplets may form, that is a disadvantage of Vivishine!
ViviShine FreshUp
Super handy wipes individually packed impregnated with silicone. If you go to a party, that large spray can with gloss spray does not always fit in a handbag or in your breast pocket ...
How does it work? These wipes are packed individually. Tear open the package. And ... ready for immediate use, you rub the latex over with the cloth and you're done!
ViviDress
Especially for the easy putting on of latex clothing. How it works: Pour a little Vivi Dress on your hands and apply it to the skin. Or spread it on the inside of the latex. You can easily slip into your latex outfit.
Spilled? Used indoors? Did everything become smooth?
If you have spilled maintenance, or the bottle has fallen or you have used a spray in the bathroom, tiled floor, package floor, etc., everything will be completely slippery! Therefore always use it outside!
How do you remove it?
● You can start by removing a large part with a towel / mop.
● Then sprinkle with talcum powder.
● Allow to be withdrawn.
● Then remove everything with a damp cloth (not completely wet).
● Then wipe with hot water from an all-purpose cleaner and hot water (check whether your substrate is resistant to all-purpose cleaner).
● The cleaning product Dusty (from the Wibra) also has a very good degreasing effect (pay attention again if your substrate is resistant).
● It may still be a bit slippery. You can then consider removing the last remains with thinner. But beware ... the substrate must be able to withstand that, otherwise it will be irreparably damaged !!
