Pole pliers / turret pliers, is a must if you are going to make holes to place nests and snaps.

Not only latex but also leather is no problem for these tongs ... it makes holes in it like it's butter! Durable !!
Suitable for making holes with a diameter of 2.5 to 5.0 mm.

We have also written a download how to use this tool, click here.

Latex tip!
Latex is a stubborn material. If you only try to perforate latex by pressing with a pair of pliers, it will not always work. Why not? As you know, latex is very flexible. If you want the latex to be perforated with the tongs, the tongs push the latex aside, so nothing happens. That is why, for example, you use a roller knife and not a knife for cutting latex.
That is why there is a hole in the latex when you perforate it together with another material, such as when the latex is stuck on twill tape. If you want to perforate latex loosely, you must do so together with another material, such as cardboard, twill or other sturdy textile.

Important: how do you use a hole punch?
- Place the material in the hole bar
- Optionally a piece of leather on the gold plate to protect the tube
- Press the tongs
- !! And now turn it back and forth
- Only now does the tongs cut and so a hole comes in

Many users only compress the tongs, but usually nothing or little happens. Only when you start turning will the tongs cut and there will be a nice hole in it. Compare it with a normal knife. If you only press a knife on the material but do not pull it back and forth, nothing will happen.
