Latex glue

Our own glue dries super fast. Clean all parts that you want to glue together with thinner (no turpentine/benzene). Print well, as if you are working on a sandpaper. Everything is going to curl ... that's good! Let it dry. Do not pull, do not blow (due to moisture!), The latex will return to its proper shape. Now apply the latex glue, again to all parts. Do not apply too much or not enough glue. Again the latex will curl, and again not pull, not blow etc. After about 3-4 minutes the glue is dry (you can test it with a fingertip, the latex does not stick or just a little bit to your finger). The drying time also depends on the room temperature. You can stick the glue for around max 10 minutes. Now stick the two layers of latex together. Press down well! Pressure is more important than the drying time (think of Velcro); a pressure roller is always handy for pressing it properly. Fixed = fixed!

Zipper glue / liquid latex

With our glue your zipper will never let go. You use zipper glue for placing zippers, or for twisting tape on the twill band. Preferably use a cotton zipper, so no acrylic etc. the glue works best with cotton, it penetrates well through the fabric of the zipper. Apply the glue on all sides of the zipper (4). With the back of a knife you can make a nice smooth surface. Let it dry for about 60 minutes (1 hour) at room temperature or use a hairdryer to speed up the drying process. The glue dries amber/transparent.

Apply a small amount of thinner to the dried zip glue with a cloth. Let it dry for a while. You then apply the latex glue to the pre-treated zipper. Let everything dry for about 2 minutes. Then stick everything together firmly. Roll after with a pressure roller. Pressure is more important than drying time.

Then stick a strip of latex over the back of the zipper, so that the textile of the zipper is between two layers of latex. You can optionally stick an extra flap over the zipper so that the skin and the like is not damaged when the zippers are zipped shut (for example, look at jeans).
